For those of you who didn't meet Chad at the last reunion, the company he works for creates websites for churches all over the world. Chad is in charge of software development and was involved in a project that was recently nominated for a Webby award. Here is a description:
Youthroots nominated for a Webby! Earlier today (April 8th), the nominees for the 2008 Webby Awards were announced, and Youthroots, the youth portal for the Faithstreams Network, was selected as a finalist for the “Religion and Spirituality” award. Dubbed “The Oscars of the Internet,” by the New York Times, the Webby Awards are the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet, including Web sites, interactive advertising, online film and video, and mobile web sites. Winners will be announced on May 8th. |
