Today was my last day at work. Tomorrow I officially begin life as a retiree. Weird!! I have enjoyed 30 years of employment as a police officer (8 years) and 22 years in the field of law enforcement training. I look forward to a break from work, but also look forward to the challenges of a future career, whatever that may be.

Most definitely! You're the experienced one at retiring and starting another career. I've had fun the first 30 years, and plan on continuing the fun. Thanks for the congrats.
